Authorised Test Facility

MOT Testing
HGV’s, buses, coaches, trailers, and horseboxes must be MOT tested each year, with the first test due 12 months after the vehicle was first registered with the DVLA.
Truck & Plant Engineering have an Authorised Testing Facility and are able to carry out MOT’s on all lorries up to 44 tonnes, trailers, buses, coaches, and horseboxes.
We currently MOT one day per week, so if your MOT is nearly due call us now so you don’t miss out.
MOT Prep
An MOT failure can be frustrating, especially if you’re expecting your vehicle to pass. Getting us to prepare your vehicle for its MOT test can be a cost-effective exercise and save you from disappointment.
We’ll steam clean under your vehicle and check it over for you, seeing what needs to be done so it can be put right before the vehicle is tested.
MOT Repairs
In the event of an MOT failure we can carry out all the repairs needed to make your vehicle roadworthy and legal for another 12 months, then re-test it for you and issue you with a valid MOT certificate.
Even if you choose to go elsewhere for the MOT, we are more than happy to carry out the required MOT repairs, in order to make the vehicle roadworthy.
